Hexpress Delivery

You're an assistant delivering magical occult items to those that need them, but your delivery van is swerving all over the place!

Use your magic bubblewrap staff to protect the artifacts from breaking, and don't let it pop!

Controls

• Use the arrow keys or WASD to move and jump.
• Aim at your staff holder and press space to pick up your staff.
  • Press space again at any point to return your staff to its holder.
• When not holding your staff, pick up items by aiming at them and pressing space.
  • Press space again to drop a held item.
• When holding your staff, aim and hold down the left mouse button to fire bubbles which top up the bubble wrap of any item they come into contact with.

Gameplay

When the van stops, some existing items will be delivered, and new items will be picked up.

Each item type will stick around for a different number of stops.

Between stops items will be tossed around by sharp turns and bumps in the road.

Items without bubble wrap are vulnerable to taking damage.

When an item takes too much damage, it is destroyed, and you lose a life.

Try your best to keep everything protected using your magical bubble wand.

Some items require special handling:

• The ancient tomes are the most basic items, just keep them alive.
• The haunted urn is fragile so make sure to keep its bubble wrap topped up.
• The potion bottle will start spilling if it's turned upside-down. Drop your staff and pick it up to turn it the right way up.
• The sacrificial dagger cuts through bubble wrap like butter. Try picking it up to keep it away from the other packages.
• The explosive potion is extremely unstable. Make sure to keep a healthy layer of bubble wrap around it. You only need to protect them for 1 stop.
